Why have a school garden?

I am passionate about educating our current and future generations about how to grow their own food. There are so many benefits, but here’s just a few:

  • Enhances academic achievement across multiple disciplines

  • Promotes healthy lifestyles

  • Instills an environmental stewardship ethic

  • Encourages community and social development

  • Instills a sense of place
